### How many days do I need for a tailor-made trip through Europe?

Most of our guests choose 9 to 12 nights for two or three countries, for example Vienna, Salzburg and the Swiss Alps, or Prague, Vienna and Budapest. Around three nights per major city keeps the pace relaxed. Two weeks or more allow a fourth country, such as the Dolomites, Venice or Poland.

### When is the best time for a luxury trip to Central Europe?

May, June, September and October are ideal for cities, lakes and the Alps. Late November to 23 December brings the Christmas markets. Mid December to mid April is ski season in Austria and Switzerland, and July and August are best for hiking and alpine lakes.

A private trip follows your own dates, pace and interests: you start when you like, stay longer where you feel at home and never wait for a group. A luxury group tour is fixed in advance and shared with other guests.
