Frequently asked questions
What does Avellera do?
Avellera is a Vienna-based high-end travel company. We design private, tailor-made journeys across Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Czechia, Hungary and Central Europe, with hand-picked hotels, first-class rail, private guides and a 24/7 concierge while you travel.
How much does a luxury trip to Central Europe cost?
Our private journeys start from US$ 600 per person per day, and from US$ 700 per person per day in Switzerland, including hand-picked hotels, private transfers, first-class rail and guides. A 10-day trip for two through Austria therefore starts at about US$ 6,000 per person.
How much does it cost to plan a trip with Avellera?
Planning is complimentary. You receive a first trip idea immediately after the planner and a detailed, priced proposal from your travel designer within 24 hours. You only pay once you are happy with the trip and decide to book.
How many days do I need for Central Europe?
Most of our guests choose 9 to 12 nights for two or three countries, for example Vienna, Salzburg and the Swiss Alps, or Prague, Vienna and Budapest. Three nights per major city keeps the pace relaxed.
Who will plan my trip?
A travel designer from our team in Vienna plans every trip personally, supported by local guides and partners we have worked with for years. You speak to the same person from first idea to the day you fly home.
Is my money protected?
Yes. Avellera is a registered Austrian travel company and package trips are insolvency-protected under Austrian law.
